Zakharova: The simultaneous unblocking of the Lachin and Aghdam routes is Lavrov’s initiative

The gradual improvement of the humanitarian situation in
Artsakh will create favorable conditions to begin a dialogue between Baku and
Stepanakert and to resume the tripartite agreements’ implementation process.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said this.

“Russia continues to facilitate the resolution of the dire
situation in Nagorno-Karabakh based on Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s
initiative on the simultaneous unblocking of the Lachin and Aghdam routes for
humanitarian goods,” she said.

Zakharova noted that, considering the interests of the local
population, uninterrupted and regular deliveries of humanitarian goods are
expected to continue.
