Catholicos of All Armenians receives Armenian Argentine students

On Sept. 15, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All
Armenians, His Holiness Garegin II received the seniors of the AGBU Marie
Manoogian Institute in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the Mother See of Holy
Etchmiadzin.

The Catholicos noted that the visit of the institute’s
seniors to Armenia and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has become a fine
tradition. The Catholicos expressed his appreciation to the AGBU
representatives and the management of the institute for the initiative.

His Holiness Garegin II expressed confidence that the
visit to Armenia will nourish and foster the seeds of patriotism that the
institute’s tutors have instilled into the students’ hearts.

The Catholicos of All Armenians referred to the dire
situation in Armenia and Artsakh, the humanitarian crisis facing Artsakh and
the fighting and indomitable spirit with which the people of Artsakh cope with
the hardships facing them. The Catholicos also highlighted the importance of
the efforts that the Armenian organizations of the Diaspora are making to help
Artsakh and the Armenian nation respond to the current challenges.
