Former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah buried 5 months after death

On Feb. 23, a farewell ceremony was held in Beirut for Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated five months ago. The ceremony was attended by more than 400 political and religious figures from abroad, including an Iranian delegation led by the speaker of Parliament. In total, more than 100,000 people attended the event.

It was announced on Sept. 28 that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah had been killed in an Israeli airstrike on the organization’s underground headquarters in Beirut.
