Over 400 USAID employees dismissed in recent days

In recent days, more than 400 employees have been dismissed from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), The New York Times reports, citing U.S. officials and agency staff.

As noted, 200 of those dismissed worked in the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, while another 200 were part of the Support and Assistance team, responsible for providing aid during natural disasters and armed conflicts.
