
Zelenskyy apologizes to Trump for Oval Office incident
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has apologized to U.S. President Donald Trump for an incident that occurred in the Oval Office by sending a letter to him, U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff said on Fox News.
“Zelenskyy sent a letter to the president. He apologized for the entire incident that took place in the Oval Office. I think this was an important step for our teams, as well as for Ukrainians and Europeans who are also involved in this discussion. I believe that apologizing for the heated meeting with Trump was a step forward,” Witkoff stated.
