Spanish foreign minister closely following rescue efforts for Spanish climbers trapped in Armenian avalanche

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares is closely monitoring the ongoing rescue efforts for a group of Spanish climbers caught in an avalanche in Armenia, the minister said in an X post.

“I thank the Armenian authorities and Ararat Mirzoyan for their cooperation. The consular emergency assistance unit has been mobilized to provide the necessary support to our citizens,” Albares wrote.
