India and Armenia are holding discussions on joint training of special forces, the geopolitical and defense-focused platform WLVN said in an X post.

As noted, Armenia is also planning to purchase loitering munitions from India for its Special Force units. To remind, since 2021, Armenia has been acquiring missiles, artillery systems, air defense systems, and other weaponry from India.

By the beginning of the 2024-2025 financial year, Armenia has purchased $600 million worth of Indian-made armaments. According to information published by The Economic Times, Armenia has chosen the Trajan 155 mm towed artillery system, co-developed by India and France, as part of its ongoing military modernization efforts.
