Criminal prosecution brought against Gagik Tsarukyan’s son-in-law

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia reports that a
criminal prosecution has been brought against the former head of the Abovyan
urban municipal community, K. G.. It is noted that K. G. has committed a number
of transgressions, abused his authority and used it against state interests,
breached a number of legal acts, expropriated lands and was engaged in money
laundering.

As a result of the alleged criminal acts, the community
incurred damages of 537 million 802 thousand 150 drams. Damages of 474 million
949 thousand 600 drams were recovered during the investigation.

The man in question is Karapet Guloyan. The latter is the
son-in-law of the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan.
