Red Cross transfers 9 patients from Artsakh to Armenia
Today, Sept. 5, under the mediation and supervision of the
International Committee of the Red Cross, nine patients, along with their
attendants, were transferred to RA specialty hospitals from the Republican
Medical Center of Artsakh Ministry of Health. The patients were transferred to
Armenia to receive immediate medical treatment.
Two patients are expected to return to Artsakh in ICRC
vehicles today. They were transferred to the Republic of Armenia to receive
state-funded treatment.
Currently, 24 children are receiving inpatient treatment in
Arevik Medical Center of Artsakh. Seven of them are in neonatal intensive care
and resuscitation units.
Ninety patients are receiving inpatient treatment in the
Republican Medical Center. Three patients are in the resuscitation unit, one of
them in critical condition.
