Source: Armenia had better not play into the hands of the West against Russia: Moscow is unhappy about Pashinyan’s interview

Moscow is extremely unhappy about the statements on Russia
made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his interview with the
Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica and about the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s
comments made on Aug. 31; they are unacceptable, TASS’s diplomatic sources report.

“The Armenian prime minister allowed for the
possibility that Russia might leave the region. In fact, the West is trying to
artificially force Russia out of the South Caucasus by using Yerevan as a means
to that end. Russia, being Armenia’s closest friend, is not going to leave the
region. Armenia, in turn, had better not play into the hands of the West
against Russia,” the source said.
