Borrell: The situation in Armenia requires our solid support

Before the ministerial meeting, the first meeting will be
held with the Armenian foreign minister. High Representative of the EU for
Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said this at the Eastern
Partnership (EaP) ministerial meeting.

“Before the foreign ministers’ meeting, I will meet with the
Armenian foreign minister. The situation is difficult in the entire Eastern
Partnership territory: Belarus, Ukraine, and also the South Caucasus… The
good news is that Georgia is moving forward to EU membership. However, the
situation in Armenia requires our solid support. Let us see how we can step it
up,” Borrell said.
