Houthis claim responsibility for missile attack on Israeli military site
The Houthis have claimed responsibility for another missile attack on a military target near the Israeli capital Tel Aviv, Armenpress writes.
Houthi Spokesperson Yahya Saria stated that the strike was carried out with a hypersonic ballistic missile.
“Yemen’s missile forces conducted an operation, striking an Israeli military object south of Jaffa [Tel Aviv area] with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile. The missile successfully reached its target, and anti-aircraft systems were unable to intercept it,” Saria said.
Earlier, the Israeli army reported a missile launch from Yemen toward Israeli territory. In a statement issued by the army’s press service, it was noted that the missile was intercepted before it could reach Israeli airspace. Several regions in the country sounded warning sirens about missile danger.
