The Yerevan Council of Elders elections will take place on
Sept. 17. Fourteen political forces are running for the elections.
The ruling political force, i.e. the Civil Contract party
stands for the elections under number 2. Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan
heads the party’s electoral list. No less important are the rest of the
candidates on the list; some of them have distinguished themselves with their
“unusual” behavior.
