
Car drives into crowd in Berlin
A car drove into people in the German capital Berlin on Thursday, injuring several people in what the emergency services said was an accident, Reuters writes.
A BMW struck a group of children reportedly aged 7-8 years old, while making a turn in the central borough of Mitte, according to the newspaper Bild.
Some children were lightly injured and an accompanying adult was severely injured, a spokesperson for Berlin fire brigade said.
The driver of the BMW was uninjured, and the crash was reportedly unintentional.
