Free and smooth passage through the Lachin corridor must be ensured immediately: US Embassy’s response to Pastinfo
The U.S. Embassy is concerned about the continuous blockade
of the Berdozor corridor by Azerbaijan and the ban on the delivery of
humanitarian aid. According to the embassy, this can seriously affect the peace
process and the creation of an atmosphere of trust.
The U.S. Embassy responded to the written inquiry from
Pastinfo news agency: “The United States is deeply concerned about the
continuous blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan. Not allowing the
delivery of humanitarian aid even exacerbates the deepening humanitarian crisis
and thwarts efforts to create an atmosphere of trust. Free and smooth passage
through the Lachin corridor must be ensured immediately.”
