We demand that the provisions of the statement of November 9 be met: Taguhi Tovmasyan takes part in action in front of the Embassy of Russia in Armenia

MP Taguhi Tovmasyan from the opposing NA With Honor faction
took part in the action, in support of Artsakh, in front of the Embassy of the
Russian Federation in Armenia. Their mere demand from Russia was to meet the
provisions of the statement of November 9.

She noted that two MPs from the two opposition factions of
the National Assembly joined the action.

“At the moment, it is only me from the I Have Honor alliance
here, but our alliance has always presented that demand  – everywhere and
to everyone,” she said.

The PM also stated that it is vacation season in the
parliament, and she cannot talk on behalf of everyone. However, she thinks that
there is a political representation.

Taguhi Tovmasyan noted that we cannot be indifferent toward
the fate of 120,000 Armenians who are in a blockade in Artsakh. We also cannot
accept the foreign policy adopted by Nikol Pashinyan, according to which
Artsakh is part of Azerbaijan. And this is the reality to be accepted.

To remind, the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation
made a statement on July 15, when the tripartite meeting between Pashinyan,
Aliyev and Michel was scheduled. As the statement read, since Armenia
recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, the conditions under which
the tripartite statement was signed in 2020, have fundamentally changed. The
statement also read that the responsibility for the fate of the Armenian
population of Nagorno-Karabakh should not fall on a third party.
