Two prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Offices of Armavir and
Kotayk provinces were dismissed from post due to inappropriate behavior.
The Prosecutor’s office reports that it was discovered
during the disciplinary proceedings that the mentioned persons displayed
inappropriate behavior, tarnishing the high reputation, good name, honor and
dignity of a prosecutor.
By Anna Vardapetyan’s order, the outcome of the proceedings
was submitted to the ethics committee under the General Prosecutor’s Office of
the Republic of Armenia. Two days later, the committee revealed abuses of power
by the two prosecutors and approved of their dismissal.
By the July 14, 2023 order of the Prosecutor General, the
two prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Offices of Armavir and Kotayk provinces
were dismissed from post.
