Artsakh residents call for clarification from US Ambassador to Armenia

Residents of Artsakh staged an action in front of the building
of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, demanding to meet with Ambassador Kristina
Kvien. They called for further clarification regarding the ambassador’s latest
statement.

To recall, on July 3, the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia
Kristina Kvien stated on Public TV that the people of Artsakh could live in
peace within Azerbaijan.

The participants of the action noted that the ambassador’s
interview caused some questions.

“We are not satisfied with the explanation the ambassador
gave after her interview. Therefore, we are here now. We were promised that a
meeting would be held this week, and we would receive answers to all our
questions,” one of the participants said.

The residents of Artsakh met with the representative of the
U.S. Embassy and presented the situation and issues facing Artsakh.
