Lukashenko: Certain amount of Russian nuclear warheads were transferred to Belarus
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has stated that he has not been preparing any attack with nuclear warheads transferred from Russia to Belarus: they are intended for defensive purposes only.
As the Russian RIA Novosti agency informs, he has spoken about this in a conversation with international media representatives.
“If the West launches an attack against Belarus, the response will be instantaneous. The targets have been decided,” Lukashenko stated.
The president of Belarus has also added in his statement that the munitions were not transported by land. Its deployment and expansion will be controlled by Russia and Belarus.
The president of Russia earlier made an allegation that Moscow and Minsk had made an agreement to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus without violating their international obligations.
