US to spend $800M on support for Ukraine in 2026–2027

The U.S. War Department’s draft budget allocates $800 million in assistance to Ukraine for the years 2026 and 2027. Congress is expected to begin reviewing the document this week.

“For the 2026 fiscal year — $400 million. For the 2027 fiscal year — $400 million,” the document states.

In addition, the bill requires the secretary of war to report to the House of Representatives and the Senate on any suspension or termination of intelligence-sharing with Ukraine.
