No agreement on fundamental issues; Positions of parties are rather different: RA Deputy Foreign Minister on Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations
RA Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, in his interview to journalists, referring to the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations and the stage they have reached in particular, stated that they have not come to an agreement on fundamental issues.
“Unfortunately, we haven’t reached an agreement on fundamental issues, which were mentioned before, namely establishing the demarcation map, issues regarding the guranators’ institution, security guarantees for the people of Nagorno Karabakh, international instruments of dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert. As for the positions of the two parties, they significantly differ from each other,” he said and added that work continues.
