Aleppo governor urges residents to stay indoors

The governor of Aleppo has urged residents to remain at home, avoid going out onto the streets, and follow only official announcements.

According to the local Gandzasar newspaper, Azzam al-Gharip advised people to avoid gathering near areas of clashes and to cooperate with internal security forces.

Earlier reports indicated that clashes had broken out between government troops and Syria’s Democratic Forces in the Achrafieh and Sheikh Maqsood districts of Aleppo.
