
Tokayev and Trump hold phone call
The presidents of the United States and Kazakhstan discussed, first and foremost, issues related to the Russia–Ukraine conflict during a phone call today, Dec. 23, RIA Novosti writes.
Kazakhstan’s president told his American counterpart that achieving a peaceful settlement of the conflict is indeed difficult, but that Kazakhstan is ready to provide a platform for negotiations.
Tokayev and Trump also discussed bilateral relations and touched upon other international topics.
