
Baku and Tbilisi discuss transit of Azerbaijani oil products to Armenia via Georgia
Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation.
During the call, the ministers discussed the current state and future prospects of the friendly and strategic partnership between the two countries.
The sides also addressed issues related to trade and transport connectivity in the region, welcoming ongoing efforts in this direction. The ministers expressed satisfaction with the agreement reached on tariff-related issues concerning the export of Azerbaijani oil products to Armenia via Georgian territory, stressing the importance of continuing work in this area. Bayramov thanked the Georgian leadership for the swift resolution of the matter.
