EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar shared the statement following the meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers on his Twitter page and wrote: “Encouraging news from Washington. The EU welcomes the sustained engagement from the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers in four days of negotiations. Progress can only be made through dialogue. We continue to stand with Armenia and Azerbaijan and work with our partners in quest for sustained peace.”
