Danish ambassador in US says his country expects respect for its territorial integrity

Denmark expects full respect for its territorial integrity, said Denmark’s Ambassador to the United States, Jesper Møller Sørensen, responding to a post by the wife of a White House staff member in which Greenland was depicted in the colors of the US flag.

“Just a friendly reminder about the US and the Kingdom of Denmark: We are close allies and should continue to work together as such. US security is also Greenland’s and Denmark’s security,” Sørensen wrote on X.

He also noted that Denmark has significantly increased its efforts in the field of Arctic security.
