Heavy snow forces flight cancellations and delays across Europe

Heavy snowfall across parts of Europe has disrupted airline operations, leading to flight cancellations and delays at several airports. The situation is particularly severe in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and France.

In France, authorities have declared an orange-level alert in 26 departments due to snow and icy conditions. Some regions, between the western coast and the Île-de-France area, are expected to receive up to 15 cm of snow. The French Civil Aviation Authority has asked airlines to reduce flights from Paris by 15% due to the weather.

Disruptions continue in the Netherlands as well. At Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, KLM has canceled at least 300 flights scheduled for Tuesday.
