It is Armenia’s internal affairs, they have no right to interfere: Armen Grigoryan on Turkey’s demand to dismantle the Nemesis Monument
The matter of the monument is the internal affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and no one else has the right to interfere in such matters. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan said this, referring to Turkey’s demand to dismantle the Nemesis Monument erected in Yerevan.
“As for the RA position on Armenian-Turkish relations, we stick to the idea that they must be built without prerequisites,” said Grigoryan. He mentioned that the matter of the monument lies in the realm of local government bodies, and it is outside his competence to say whether the monument will be dismantled or not.
