Maria Zakharova: Antony Blinken’s statements regarding significant progress contradict comments of Yerevan and Baku
Further work on the draft peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be continued by Baku and Yerevan on a bilateral basis, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at the traditional briefing.
“We see our role in facilitating this process, which is why we offered Moscow as a platform for the next round of negotiations,” Zakharova said.
Commenting on the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s statement regarding the significant progress made by Armenia and Azerbaijan on the way to signing the peace agreement, Zakharova noted that it contradicted the comments of the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides.
