Trump says 152 aircraft involved in Maduro arrest operation

U.S. President Donald Trump has said a total of 152 aircraft participated in the operation to arrest Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife.

“It was a complex operation. It involved 152 aircraft and a large number of troops. It was impressive. We did not suffer any casualties, but unfortunately, many people were killed on the other side. Most of the casualties were Cuban soldiers,” Trump said.

Speaking about Nicolás Maduro, Trump accused him of being responsible for the deaths of millions of people.

“They have torture chambers in the center of Caracas, which are now being shut down,” the U.S. president added.
