Erdoğan says global economy drawn into new battle over precious metals
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said it is becoming clear that the global economy is being drawn into a new struggle over precious metals, Turkish media reports.
Erdoğan said this is likely to be extremely painful.
“There seems to be a new competition for control and division, driven by the fight to secure energy resources and dominate trade routes,” he added.
