Education minister says schools need protection as drugs part of today’s reality

Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan has said at a press conference that “unfortunately, we live in a reality where drugs are part of our everyday life.”

“This should not be the case, but it is, and schools need protection,” Andreasyan stated.

She noted that the ministry sees its role in setting and enforcing safety standards.

“From our side, we are being extremely vigilant,” the minister added.
