Iran to resist protests: Khamenei calls on public to remain united

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has addressed the nation, calling on the public to remain united.

He also addressed US President Donald Trump, stating that some protesters are seeking to curry favor with the US president by damaging public property.

“Last night in Tehran and elsewhere, protesters set fire to homes and buildings in an attempt to please the US president,” Khamenei said.

Iran’s supreme leader urged Trump to focus on resolving problems within the United States.

He also stated that Iran will resist the ongoing protests.
