‘ICE OUT’: Celebrities take a stand against US immigration agency at Golden Globes

At a politically charged time, it was also a politically charged Golden Globes ceremony.

Following the fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis by a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer, several celebrities wore pins reading “BE GOOD” and “ICE OUT”, Euronews writes.

The anti-ICE pins were worn by the likes of Mark Ruffalo, Wanda Sykes, Natasha Lyonne, Jean Smart and Ariana Grande.

The organizers pledged to continue the campaign throughout awards season to ensure the public knows the names of Good and others killed by ICE agents in shootings.
