Russia calls for international wanted notice for British defense secretary following Putin ‘kidnapping’ remarks
A Russian State Duma deputy, Mikhail Sheremet, has called for UK Secretary of State for Defense John Healey to be placed on an international wanted list following his comments about the potential “kidnapping” of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Sheremet suggested that the British minister should face remote prosecution for his statements.
Healey had previously said he would not oppose the idea of Putin being “kidnapped,” similar to the operation involving Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro.
