Andrea Bocelli, Mariah Carey: Music world’s giants to attend 2026 Winter Olympics opening

Italian crossover tenor Andrea Bocelli is to headline the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics at Milan’s San Siro stadium on Feb․ 6, Euronews writes.

He joins the previously announced high priestess of pop Mariah Carey.

The ceremony will also pay tribute to late Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani, who designed the Italian team’s Olympic uniforms.

The closing ceremony, set for Feb. 22 in Verona, will feature internationally acclaimed ballet star Roberto Bolle.
