
‘Zangezur Corridor’ could become operational by 2030, Turkish minister says
The 224-kilometer Kars–Iğdır–Aralık–Dilucu railway is of key importance for the “Zangezur Corridor”, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said.
He noted that Azerbaijan continues work on the “Zangezur Corridor”.
“There are unfinished sections in Nakhijevan. The Azerbaijani side will likely begin implementing them this year,” the minister said.
Uraloğlu also emphasized US involvement in the construction of the “Zangezur Corridor”. According to him, the Turkish side expects progress in this direction this year.
The minister added that the “Zangezur Corridor” could be put into operation by 2030.
