Denmark to go to war with US if Trump attempts to seize Greenland

Rasmus Jarlov, head of Denmark’s Parliamentary Defense Committee, has stated that Denmark would go to war with the United States if it attempted to seize Greenland.

A CNN reporter asked Jarlov how prepared Denmark is to resist any US attempts to take over Greenland.

“We will, of course, defend Greenland. If American troops invade, there will be war,” Jarlov told CNN in response to the question.

He added that Denmark recognizes the United States has a military advantage over the country. Nevertheless, any attempt to seize Greenland would still end in disaster for the United States.
