‘Zangezur Corridor’, including TRIPP, plays key role in regional connectivity, Aliyev tells Trump

US President Donald Trump and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed steps taken toward normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan during a meeting in Davos, APA news agency reports.

Aliyev noted that the “Zangezur Corridor,” including the TRIPP initiative, plays an important role in regional connectivity.

Stating that peace has already been established in the region, Aliyev emphasized that this is also reflected in the development of trade relations between the two countries. In this context, he pointed to the export of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia, as well as the transit of grain supplies to Armenia through Azerbaijani territory.
