‘Russia can provide better quality at a lower price’: Peskov on Armenia–US nuclear projects

Russia’s expertise in nuclear energy exceeds that of the United States, while the cost of its services is lower, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated, speaking about nuclear projects between Yerevan and Washington.

“Regarding cooperation in the nuclear energy sector between Armenia and the United States, there are old Soviet facilities, which, of course, are of Soviet and Russian design. Here, Russia undoubtedly has greater expertise and is more competitive. As one of the world’s most advanced countries in this field, Russia can meet the highest levels of international competition if such competition is required by its partners. This means that Russia can provide better quality at a lower price,” the Kremlin spokesperson said.
