Canada school shooting suspect earlier killed mother and stepbrother
The suspect in yesterday’s killings at one of Canada’s schools has been identified as 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar, who had mental health issues.
Before reaching the school, he also killed his 39-year-old mother and his 11-year-old stepbrother.
As noted, Rootselaar was born male, but began identifying as a female six years ago.
She died by suicide after opening fire at her former school and killing people. The death toll reached nine, including Van Rootselaar, while 27 others were injured.
