Earthquake in Iran also felt in Syunik

According to the RA MIA Seismic Protection Territorial
Service, at 6:27 a.m. local time (2:27 a.m. GMT) on Dec. 23, an earthquake
measuring 4.6. on the Richter scale occurred 33 kilometers northeast of the
city of Tabriz in Iran. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.

In the epicenter, the earthquake measured 6 on the Richter
scale.

The earthquake was also felt in a number of settlements in
Syunik Province, Armenia, registering a magnitude of 2–3.
