On Sept. 28, 2020, Artsakh hero Menua Hovhannisyan left for
Artsakh as a volunteer platoon commander. On Oct. 3, after 1-hour discussions
with the president of Artsakh, he took responsibility to carry out the attack
on Aregasar mountain. On Oct. 5, they met a group of 180 Azerbaijanis behind
enemy lines. It was during that battle that Menua Hovhannisyan was killed,
inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.
