Iran capable to continue war as long as necessary, Khamenei’s advisor says
Iran will not negotiate with the United States, Mohammad Mokhber, advisor to former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, told local TV.
According to Mokhber, there is no basis for dialogue with the US, as Iran does not trust the Americans.
Recalling the Iran-Iraq War of 1980–1988, he said that Iran can continue the war as long as necessary.
Mokhber stated that since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, the US and Israel have sought to fragment Iran.
“The Americans do not want to occupy Iran; they want to break it apart,” he said.
