Pezeshkian says Iran won’t strike neighboring countries

Iran’s Interim Leadership Council has decided not to carry out missile or drone strikes against neighboring countries if attacks are not launched against Iran from their territory, President Masoud Pezeshkian has said.

“I apologize to neighboring countries. Yesterday, the Interim Leadership Council decided that neighboring countries will no longer be subjected to attacks or missile strikes if there are no attacks against Iran from their territory,” Pezeshkian said.

He stated that Iran has no intention of invading other countries.
