Medical research center in Tehran targeted in attack
A medical research center in Tehran, founded in 1920, has been targeted in an attack, Al Jazeera reports, citing Iran’s Ministry of Health.
Hossein Kermanpour, a spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Health, stated that the attack caused significant damage to the center.
“The aggression against Pasteur Institute of Iran—a century-old pillar of global health & member of International Pasteur Network—is a direct assault on international health security. This violates Geneva Conventions & IHL principles,” Kermanpour said.
