New textbooks of Armenian history continue to be the center of public attention.
A few years ago, when the current authorities announced that the “Armenian Church History” subject was going to be removed from school curriculums, the Armenian Apostolic Church sought the settlement of the issue. The church was one of the first to sound the alarm; however, its calls fell on deaf ears. Today, a discussion on the new textbooks of Armenian history took place in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The clergymen talked to the press about the outcomes of the meeting.
