Israeli artillery strikes into Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) made strikes into the
territory of Lebanon in retaliation for the overnight shelling of the north of
Israel, the IDF press service reports.

“After the air alert in the village of Dishonat at night,
Lebanon fired several shells into the territory of Israel. Reports say
interceptor missiles were not launched.

In retaliation, Tzahal’s artillery made strikes into the
territory of Lebanon, from where the shells were fired. Moreover, the Israeli
air force made strikes on the unit that had carried out the shelling,” reads
the release.
