Iranian and Turkish presidents to meet in Ankara
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will leave for Turkey’s capital Ankara on Thursday with a high-ranking delegation, Mehr writes.
Within the visit, Raisi will have a private meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Iranian and Turkish leaders will also attend the eighth meeting of the Supreme Council of Economic Cooperation between Iran and Turkey.
They will talk about the meeting outcomes in a press conference.
Raisi and Erdogan will participate in the joint meeting between the businessmen and economic leaders of Iran and Turkey. The Iranian president will also meet with the representatives of the Iranian community in Turkey.
Citing Turkish sources, the media reported earlier that the talks between Raisi and Erdogan would focus on the situation in Gaza and Syria, as well as the bilateral relations.
The Iranian president’s visit was scheduled for the end of November. However, it was postponed because of the heavy schedules of the foreign ministers of the two regional powers. Raisi said this.
