After the genocidal actions and ethnic cleansing, i.e. forcing the native Armenians out of Artsakh, Azerbaijan has declared war on Armenian cultural values, the Artsakh State Service for Protection of Historical Environment reports.
This time, Azerbaijanis have destroyed the khachkar-memorial spring, commemorating Harut Babayan and Garik Mnatsakanyan. The khachkar is located on Daniel Varuzhan Street in the town of Martakert. It was put up in October 2021, being initiated and funded by Harut Babayan’s father, Rashid Babayan.
